He was predeceased by: his father La India Packing Co; his wife Maria Guadalupe "Lupita" Saenz Rodriguez; his father Antonio Rodriguez; his siblings, Oscar Rodriguez (Laura), Maria Luisa Olivares (Joe), Hector Rodriguez (Tomasa) and Ruben Rodriguez (Lupita); and his brother-in-law Abel Arce.
He is survived by: his children, Romeo Rodriguez Jr. (Sylvia), Ricardo Rodriguez (Patricia), Rene Rodriguez (Sonia), Roberto Eduardo Rodriguez (Veronica) and Rafael Antonio "Ralph" Rodriguez; his grandchildren, Adriana Garrigues (JP) of Jose David, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Stephanie Rodriguez, Audrey Rodriguez, Rick Rodriguez, Cory Raven (Mason), Jackie Rodriguez and Diego Rodriguez; his great grandchildren, Etienne "Eti" Garrigues, Aiden Rodriguez and Christopher Rodriguez; and his sister Hilda Arce.
