She was predeceased by: her husband Jorge Alexander; and her parents, Jose F. Gomez and Maria Olivia Gomez. She is survived by: her daughters, Sylvia Lombraña (Cesar) and Sandra Cavazos (Alberto); her grandchildren, Alexis Cruz (Gerardo), Cesar Lombraña, II (Dianneth) and Anahi Lombraña; her great grandchildren, Gerardo Cruz, Jr. and Emma Isabella Lombraña; her caregiver Rita Vargas; and her sister Leticia Palacios (Carlos). She is also survived by numerous other relatives, and friends.
Sylvia's contributions to her community were immeasurable, and her legacy will live on through the lives she touched and the values she instilled.
