She was predeceased by: her parents, Octavio Garza and Maria Clara Garza; her sister Gladys Amador; and her nephew Ricardo Nuñez. She is survived by: her husband Pedro Ruiz; her children, Joshua James Garza, Krystell Rubi Ruiz (Juan Jose) and Peter Andrew Ruiz (Jessica Herrera); her siblings, Clara Garza and Octavio Garza (Cecilia); and her siblings' children, Javier Omar Nuñez, Fernando Amador (Cynthia) and Gladys Claudia Amador. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
