She was predeceased by: her father Oscar Everett. She is survived by: her husband David Herron; her nephews, Mario Fernandez and Jacob Martinez; her daughter Cindy "Mimi" Salinas (Alonzo E. Salinas); her mother Aminta Tijerina (Tito); her sisters, Sandra Alvarez (Homero), Castillo, Jr. and Cynthia Fernandez; and her nephew Francisco "Panchito" Villalobos. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and co-workers.
