It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tomas Lara (Laredo, Texas), who passed away on January 29, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Carmen Lara; his son Jose Luis Lara; and his daughter-in-law Sylvia Lara. He is survived by: his children, Tomas Lara (Rosario), Rosa Maria Palacios (Magdaleno), Rodolfo Lara, Maria Concepcion Ayala (Jose), Roberto Lara (Maria Teresa), Juan Manuel Lara (Maria), Marco Antonio Lara (Diana), Israel Lara (Julissa) and Gilberto Lara (Beatriz); and his brothers, Luis Lara and Ernesto Lara. He is also survived by 48 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
