It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Castillo of Laredo, Texas, who passed away on April 18, 2022, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Roel Castillo; her grandson Michael Speer; her parents, Guadalupe Melendez and Minerva Melendez; and her siblings, Maricela Moreno (Joe), Minerva Rojas (Juventino), Rafael Melendez (Graciela) and Roberto Melendez.
She is survived by: her daughters, Virginia, Vanessa Garcia (Juan), Viviana Rodriguez (Julio) and Isabel Robles (Diego); and her siblings, Evangelina Melendez (Juan), Armandina Martinez (Andres), Ofelia Vargas (Ricardo), Herminia Vera (Ramon), Imelda Melendez, Antonio Melendez (Rosa) and Rosario Jimenez (Rosalio). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.
