He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine "Carrie" Young and William Ned Young Sr.; and his siblings, Sandra Kay Young and John Gerard Young. He is survived by: his wife Leslie Lyn Young; his daughters, Charlotte "Charlie" Lyn Young, Victoria "Tori" Rose Young (Cole Gavlick) and Sapphire Leigh Young; his grandson Julius Donnell Washington; and his siblings, Karen Ann Roark (Terren), Dr. Catherine Elizabeth Young, Bonnie Lepovitz, Lewis Lepovitz (Lilly), Lloyd Lepovitz (Millie) and Lizabeth Solcher (Dan).
A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Church (555 E Del Mar Blvd, Laredo, TX 78041). A rosary will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery (3601 McPherson Rd, Laredo, TX 78041).
