It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Yolanda E. Rivera (Laredo, Texas), who passed away on May 8, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Florentino Elizondo and Paulina Elizondo. She is survived by: her husband Marcelino Rivera; her children, Yvonne Alvarado, Sandra Martinez (Josue), Francisco Javier Alvarado (Celia), Bernadette Trejo (Valentin), Juanita Brown (David), Carmen Martinez (Alfredo), Rebecca Briones (Roberto), Jose Marcelino Rivera (Sirenia) and Victor Rivera; her grandchildren, Tatiana, Yvette, Jorge, Daniel, Eduardo, Monica, Abigail, Victoria, Samantha, Sabrina, Alfredo and Alejandra; her great grandchildren, Cristian, Sebastian and Lorenzo; and her siblings, Paulina Elizondo, Zoraya Elizondo, Sandra Elizondo and Marisa Elizondo. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
