With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Lynn Holt of Lavon, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 15, 2026 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though David may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those David touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his mother Charlotte Gibson; and his brothers, Michael Holt, John Holt and Robert Holt. He is survived by: his father Gary Michael Holt (Suzzanne) of Cottondale, FL; his brother Jack Mitchell; his stepbrothers, Chance Hendrix, Christopher Hendrix and Matthew Hendrix; his sister Teresa Howell; and his children, Joshua Holt of Oklahoma, Colt Holt of Texas and Nicholas Holt of Virginia.
