He is survived by: his wife Patricia Adams; his children, Susan Canales (Luis), Sandra Carrell (Dean), Sharon Kuehne (Wes) and Thomas Jr.; his stepdaughter Mary Lou Cortimilia (Chris); and his sisters, Ellen Thrash and Mittie Baxley. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Charles W. Smith and Sons Funeral Home - Lavon (2343 Lake Rd, Lavon, TX 75166). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Restland Cemetery (13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75243).
