With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Buddy Casteel of Leakey, Texas, who passed away on September 5, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Buddy farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Buddy is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Ashli Blanton (James Blanton) of Las Vegas, Nevada and Jaret Casteel of Leakey, Texas; his granddaughters, Kirsten Blanton of Medford and Haley Blanton of Las Vegas, Nevada; his daughter Brittany; and his parents, Rose Dugue Casteel Clapp and Glenn Edmund Casteel. He was also cherished by extended family and countless friends.
