She was predeceased by: her mother Ruby Lee Knight; and her siblings, Raymond, James Earl and Carol. She is survived by: her husband Ronald Gary Shumake; her children, Erik Shumake (Xanthi), Leasha Shumake (Tim Kroeker) and Lyra Walker (Drew); her grandchildren, Ian Granados and Athena Walker; and her siblings, Wanda, Janice, Hildred, Randall, Laveda, Tammy, Andy, Edward and Charles. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Shumake Family Home (402 County Glen St, Leander, TX 78641).
