He was loved and cherished by many people including : his siblings, Robin Burgess Lindsay (Rodney), Shawn Burgess (Karan), Kelly Burgess Gomez (Valentine) and Tara Burgess Patton (Allen); his nieces and nephews, Dawn Marshall, Brenner Burgess, Kab Burgess (Marisa), Steven Burgess, Marie Burgess (Quentin), Megan Gomez Brymer (Joseph), Dusty Patton (Samantha), Ryan Patton and Emily Patton Wilburn (Cota); and his parents, John Kenneth Burgess and Marion Janet Burgess. He was also cherished by cousins, grand-nephews, and grand-nieces.
