She was predeceased by: her husband Harold; her parents, John Talbert and Margaret Talbert of Seguin, Texas; and her siblings, Joann Hodges of Uncertain, Texas and Paul Talbert of Galveston, Texas..
She is survived by: her son Lee Dowdy (Isabel); her grandchildren, Michael, Megan, Nicole and Bryan; her daughter Liz Bila; her son-in-law Randy Bila; and her brothers, Don, Charles and Diron Talbert. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
