She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlota Ramirez and Reynaldo Ramirez; her son Jerry William Garza; and her grandson Alberto Carrillo. She is survived by: her daughter Tamara Garza Chavez (Ramiro); her grandchildren, Tonya Garza (Jody Kaylor), RJ Chavez (Allie Alvarado), Mya Chavez (Marquan Hampston), Mirayah Garza and Anissa Chavez (Michael Carrilo); her great grandchildren, Ellie, Milani and Lexie; her siblings, Olivia Duckworth (Tom), Ofelia Pallanez (Tony), Josephine Dominguez (Ruben), Hortencia Del Bosque (Randy) and Rey Ramirez (Yolanda); her nephews, Anthony Duckworth, Gabriel Pallanez and Jerrod Duckworth; RJ Chavez, Mya Chavez and Mirayah Garza. She is also survived by nieces and nephews as well as grand-nieces and nephews.
