He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Donsel Leroy Champ and Mary Ellen Finch; his wife Julia Bishop of Leander; his son Preston Creed; his daughter-in-law Aemilia Macias of Leander; his siblings, Bonnie Rodriguez (Joey) of El Paso and Clark Champ of California; his former life partner Kimberly Champ; and his children, Stewart and Rachel.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Beck Funeral Home (1700 E Whitestone Blvd, Cedar Park, TX 78613). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Twin Lakes Fellowship Cemetery. He learned to ice skate at the age of 63, and at the beginning of the pandemic, he shared his backyard with chickens, bees and a small urban garden.
