She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Spoules Lay and Joyce Marie Lay (Minton); her sister Mary Edwards; and her sister-in-law Barbara Snowden. She is survived by: her husband Richard Kovar of Ledbetter; her children, Melissa Reed (Jammie) of Ft. Worth, Bridgett Bradshaw (David) of Hutto, Paul Albrecht Jr. (Melissa Jo) of San Antonio, Brock Kovar (Melanie) of Bastrop, Chad Kovar of Giddings and Christopher Kovar (Brook) of Giddings; and her siblings, Fred Snowden of Austin, Charles Lay of South Carolina, Nancy Speers (Clarence) of Goldthwaite and Brenda Page (Jack) of Smithville. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
Memorial may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Center, Disabled Veterans of America or the charity of one's choice.
