He was predeceased by: his parents, Luscious Quinn and Charlotte "Lottie" Abbott (McBride); and his siblings, Lee George Abbott, Luscious "Quinn" Abbott, Bennie James Abbott and Avanell Abbott Benedict.
He is survived by: his wife Deltrice Corine Abbott (Meadows) of Leggett, Texas; his sister Elizabeth "Beth" Abbott Evans of Georgia; and his children, Wade Gayle Abbott (Caroline) of Huntsville, Texas and Dawana Lenee Abbott Armentrout of Leggett, Texas. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
