In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy John Allen leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though John Allen may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Nile Shearer and Ella Jane Shearer Lee. He is survived by: his wife Martha Ruth Masters Shearer; his children, Kristi Guzinski (Patrick) and Jason Shearer (Sarah); his grandchildren, Jacob, Grace Guzinski, Joe and Levi Shearer; and his brother Kenneth Shearer (Annette). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Texans on Mission, an organization with which John once served, dedicated to sharing God's love through hands-on disaster relief, construction, and community outreach.
