She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Henry Bascomb Gay and Eulah Maude Stepp Gay; her siblings, Juanita Gay Rich of Floyd Gay, H. B, Gay Jr., Everette Gay and Gerald Gay; her spouse Garvis Glen Buchanan of McKinney, Texas.; her son Mark Alan Buchanan; her daughter-in-law Joyce Marie Russell; her children, Lauren Marie Henslee and Jacob "Jake" Russell Buchanan; and her siblings-in-law, Arvis and Kay Buchanan. She was also cherished by her children, all of her grandchildren and great grandkids, her brother and sister in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.
