He was predeceased by: his parents, James Madison Nance and Helen Frances Nance (Lucas); his wife Dorothy Fay Nance; his son Charles Allen Nance; his grandchildren, John Allen Nance, Hannah Nance, Brennan Nance and Jerry Mulkey; his great grandchild Mason Williams; and his sons-in-law, Robert Sanders and Mike Waygood.
He is survived by: his children, Gayla Sanders, Charlotte Crain, Barbara Waygood, Sandra Collins (Don) and Brad Nance (Babette); and his grandchildren, Tonya Nance, Shatan Vasquez (Bo), Amanda Warren (Justin), Melissa Williams (Randy), Tina Mulkey, Denny York, Jody York (Ketha), Lori Hutchins (James), Chris Waygood, Jessica Perser (Dakota), Shauna Wade (Cody), Hollie Boyette (Josh), Rachel Forte (Nathan) and Blaine Nance (Amy). He is also survived by Papa is further survived by 28 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
