She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Hernandez and Evarista Aquire; and her husband Alvino Velardes. She is survived by: her children, Olga Palmer, Omega Cantu, Irene Ramirez, Sylvia Velardes and Edward Velardes. She is also survived by six brothers and four sisters and was loved by her 14 grandchildren and 26 great- grandchildren.
