He is survived by: his sons, Thomas Jermaine Taft and Shelton O'Shea Taft; his grandsons, Xavier Lopez, Christian Gonzales-Taft and Timothy Taft; his siblings, Stephen Demons of Pleasant Grove, TX, James Dancer of Fort Worth, TX, Muntu Umoja of Fort Worth, TX, Janice Holland of Keller, TX, Salena Roseburr (Charles) of Bakersfield, CA, Mary Pettie of Arlington, TX and LaShall Bates (Andre) of Fort Worth, TX; his aunt Fay Manson of San Diego, CA; his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Demons of Wolfforth, TX, Peggie McCoy of Phoenix, AZ, Valerie McCoy of Phoenix, AZ, Ruth McCoy of Yuma, AZ, Joyce McCoy of Dallas, TX and Seber McCoy, Jr. of Yuma, AZ; and his close friends, Vivian Thomas, Alvin Childers, Herman Malone, Alvin Silmon, Dennis Blair, Edward Nix, Charles "Butch" Wade and Donny Currington.
