He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Thomas and Juraldene Leona Dean; and his siblings, Pauline Michael, Bonnie Louise Ballard and Randy Dean.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Dean; his children, Rodney Dean (JoAnn), Timothy Dean (Connie), Greg Dean, Shannon Anderson (Tony) and Stephen Dean; and his brother Johnny Dean. He is also survived by 18 Grandchildren, 25 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandchild.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home (730 Clarksville St, Paris, TX 75460). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at the Little Vine Cemetery (34250 County Rd 34250, Sumner, TX 75486).
