She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Clifford Jay and Minnie Lois Jay (Bownds); her husband Wilson Boyd (Preacher); and her siblings, Ruby Schneider, Joetta Herklotz, Ivell Jay, Grady Jay and Billy Jack Jay.

She is survived by: her daughters, Faye McCrady of Austin and Cindy Lockwood (Philip) of Lexington; her grandchildren, Thomas Reed (Janis) of Seabrook, Kim Purkhiser (Jeff) of Leander, Jay McCrady (Kaeli) of Blue, Clint Lockwood of Austin, Cade Lockwood (Aria) of La Porte and Russ Lockwood of Austin; her great grandchildren, Jessica Coburn of Austin, Faith Reed Davitt (Andrew) of Alabama, Lakin Lockwood of La Porte and Grace McCrady of Blue; her great great grandchildren, Abby Purkhiser of Leander, Ben Davitt of Alabama and Alice Davitt of Alabama; and her sister Jean Thayler of Brenham. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.

Memorials may be given to the Lexington United Methodist Church or the charity of one's choice.
