He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Antonio Rubio and Concepcion Barcenas; his brother-in-law Leopoldo Mendoza; his nephew Concepcion Mendoza Rubio; his wife Claudia Flores Rubio; his children, Felipe Rubio, Antonio Rubio and Juana Rubio; his siblings, Maria, Carmen Mendoza, Paola Rubio, Petra Salinas, Jorge Rubio and J. Ciro Rubio; and his grandchildren, Andrea Rubio, Jonathan Rubio, Jolette Rubio, Scarlet Rubio, Aiden Rubio, Justin Rubio, Dylan Rodriguez, Melanie Rodriguez, Yared Rodriguez and Felipe G. Rubio III.
