He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Lebon and Flossie Pearl Pearce Howell; his wife Jeannie Howell; and his siblings, Wayne Howell, Donald Howell, Barbara Scoggins and Carol McFarland.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kathleen Slemmons (Dan) of Ft. Worth, Deborah McCommas (Ronnie) of Marble Falls and Carla Jean Fortenberry (Chris) of Everman; and his siblings, Keith Howell (Lee) of Weatherford and Delilah Murray of Euless. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
