He was predeceased by: his parents, James Cox and Gladys Cox; and his siblings, Frank M. Cox, Simon Timothy Cox Sr., Betty J. Sims and Mary F. Cox.
He is survived by: his sisters, Fannie M. Wooddell (Clifford), Marth G. Hudson (Lawrence) and Janice Beckcom (Ed). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jarratt Cemetery (1432 Co Rd 1515, Jacksonville, TX 75766). A graveside service was held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
