John E. Cheatham Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John E. Cheatham of Lindale, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 23, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Dixon and Joan Coen (Cheatham); his wife Anna Elizabeth "Beth" Cheatham; and his brother James Carl Cheatham. He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Galysh (John) of Lindale and Liz Johnson (Willace) of Lindale; his siblings, Jeanie Stewart of Rusk and Paul Cheatham (Cathy) of Tyler; and his grandchildren, Ryder, Gunner Johnson and Sophia Galysh. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
Family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. prior to the service and has asked that in lieu of flowers, consider memorial contributions be made to Mt. Sylvan Baptist Church.
