She was predeceased by: her parents, Elliot Clark Morris and Ruby Inez Goodman Morris; her husband Warren Maxfield; her grandson Jason Ray Maxfield; her great great grandchild A'sa James Russ; and her half-brother Clark Billy Morris.
She is survived by: her children, Dewayne of Sandflat, David of Sandflat, Darrell Maxfield of Sandflat, Katheryn Martinez (Emilio) of Sandflat and Karen Hudgins of Arkansas; her sister Betty Maniord; her brother-in-law Marvin Maxfield (Sandy); and her close friends, Sherrie Maxfield, Lisa Duncan, Sheri Homan and Melvina Warren. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, four great-great granddaughters, one great-great grandson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home (206 W South St, Lindale, TX 75771). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Donations may be made to the Salvation Army in Tyler, Texas or to the First Baptist Church in Winona, Texas.
