Sue Best Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sue Best of Lindale, Texas, who passed away on October 3, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Sue had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Sue may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Oliver Pipkin and Mildred Ariel Jones Pipkin; her husband Jack Glen Best; her son Randy Glen Best; and her siblings, June Cornwell and H. O. "Sonny" Pipkin Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Kevin Lynn Best (Joy) of Lindale, TX and Barbi Suzanne Silkwood (Tony) of Pleasanton, TX; her daughter-in-law Beth Best of Port Neches, TX; and her sister Jerry Nell Smith of Weatherford, OK. She is also survived by six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Riley Funeral Home (913 U. S. Hwy 190, Woodville, TX 75979). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.
