It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sue Betts McKay of Lindale, Texas, born in Jacksonville, Texas, who passed away on May 22, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Willie Love. She is survived by: her husband Jimmie McKay of Lindale; her daughters, Wendy Phillips (John Phillips) of Mineola and Laurie Walls (Michael Walls) of The Woodlands; her brother John Betts of Atlanta; her grandchildren, Whitney Phillips, Jonathan Phillips (Abby), Caroline Phillips, Harrison Walls and Sophie Walls; her sibling's children, Ronnie McKay, Melonie Bartlett, Kim Stephens, Kevin Betts, Robin Betts and Randall Betts; and her brother-in-law Thomas McKay (Mary).
The family has asked that memorial contributions be made to either the First Baptist Church of Lindale Building Fund or to the Gideons International.
