He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Herbert and Martha Kate Hickey (Mahaffey); his brother Sherman Hickey; and his sister-in-law Jo Frances Hickey. He is survived by: his wife Betty Hickey of Hideaway; his children, Kevin Hickey (Susan) of Marietta and Kaylyn Hickey of Coppell, Texas; and his grandchildren, Aaron Hickey (Georgia) of Alpharetta and Lucy McDaniel (Logan) of Cleveland, Georgia.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to Green Acres Baptist Church.
