He was predeceased by: his parents, Smoky Harris and Dorothy Harris; his siblings, Phil and Kathy Harris Parker; his niece Kristi Hulme-Hargis; and his sister-in-law Lanette Burnett.

He is survived by: his wife Peggy Harris; his son Jeremy; his granddaughter Hailey; his nieces, LeAnn Harris and Keri Hulme Hitchcock (Chris); his in-laws, Charlie and Inez Peterson; his brother-in-law Kelly Roe (Clarissa); and his nephew Aaron Roe. He is also survived by great-nieces, an aunt and numerous cousins.
