With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Delta Hamilton of Linden, Texas, who passed away on March 1, 2026 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Floyd and Exar Floyd; her husband Edward Hamilton; her grandson Gerald Patterson; and her siblings, Dorothy Reese, Doil Floyd and Anita Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Reina Witzel (Jim) of Prosper, Texas, Sue Donald of Moberly, Missouri and Marsha Monroe (Kirk) of Linden, Texas; her grandchildren, Traci (Jonathan Piott), Savannah Monroe (Isaac Bates), Joshua Donald, Tori Brassfield and Kayli Witzel; and her child Avon. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
