He was predeceased by: his parents, Weldon Winget and Evelyn Winget. He is survived by: his wife Beverly; his children, Jennifer, Derek Graham of Frisco, TX, Jamie and Christopher Schipper of Frisco, TX; and his grandchildren, Hayley, Mitchell Thompson of Frisco, TX, Kaitlyn Hughes of Austin, TX, Emily, Aaron Volkert of Dallas, TX, Jonathan Graham of Frisco, TX, Sadie Schipper of Frisco, TX and Evan Schipper of Frisco, TX. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Stonebriar Funeral Home (10375 Preston Rd, Frisco, TX 75033).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, an organization that was dear to John's heart.
