With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eldon Poncho of Livingston, Texas, born in Woodville, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 12, 2025 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Christine Thompson Poncho; and his brother Melvin Poncho. He is survived by: his father James Poncho; his brother Justin Poncho (Jennifer); his children, Taylor Thompson (Clarisa), Morgan Poncho (Jose) and Drew Poncho of Livingston, Texas; his grandchildren, Hunter Thompson of Livingston, Texas, Gunter Thompson of Livingston, Texas, Cooper Thompson of Livingston, Texas, Parker Springfield, Sophia Beltra and Graciela Beltran; his aunts and uncles, Ida Langley, Diana Thompson, Vernon Poncho, Marcel Poncho and Adrian Poncho; and his sister Waynne Poncho. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at the Funeral Cochran Funeral Home Chapel (406 N Yaupon Ave, Livingston, TX 77351). A wake will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
