He was predeceased by: his son Emory C. Watts Jr.; his brother Glen Watts; his parents, A. T. Watts and Edith Watts; and his son-in-law Rocky Langston.
He is survived by: his wife LaJoyce Locke Watts of Livingston, Texas; his children, Terresa Watts Langston and Rodney Watts (Kelly); his grandchildren, Brittany Gaston (Brandon), Brady Langston (Christy), William Langston, Ryan Watts (Bailea), Seaman Hayden Lynch, Navy, Collin Lynch and Caleb Sims; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Watts; and his great grandchildren, Hayden Gaston, McKenzie Gaston, Lilah Emery Watts, John Green and Mikell Green II. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, a cause that's close to their hearts.
