He is survived by: his wife Martha Ruth Smith of Livingston; his children, Angie Christine Beaudreau of Houston and Chad Austin Smith (Mayte Alquicira) of McKinney; his grandchildren, Chloe Madison Beaudreau of New York, Austin Scott Beaudreau and Ainsley Taylor Beaudreau of Houston; and his siblings, Marion "Bid" Smith (Grace Smith) of Livingston and Connie June Smith of Brenham.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Gideons International or First Baptist Church.
