He was predeceased by: his parents, Kacoska Moore and Katie Rebecca Sheffield Moore; his grandson Tre'Page; and his siblings, Avis Moffett and Loy "Putney" Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Jolene Gay Moore; his son James "Jim" Moore Jr.; his daughter-in-law Kathy; his daughter Jan Moore; his grandchildren, Sarah Page, Orey Fails, Lauren Stevens, Landon, Josh Moore and Kaylyn; his great grandchildren, Drew Page, Molly Page, Kace Fails, Kori Fails, Kaylee Page, Graham Stevens and Sawyer Stevens; and his caregiver Cinderella Robertson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cochran Funeral Home (406 N Yaupon Ave, Livingston, TX 77351). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Providence Baptist Church (898 Providence Rd, Livingston, TX 77351).
