We are sad to announce that, on July 18, 2024, at the age of 78, John McDowell of Livingston, Texas, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Earl McDowell and Anna Mae McDowell (Furphy); and his brother Frank Pozzi. He is survived by: his sons, John McDowell, Jr. (Lori) of Alvin, James McDowell (Tammy) of Humble and Frederick McDowell (Brenda) of Deer Park, Texas; and his siblings, Ann Brown (Rick) of New Jersey, Karen Skaggs (Mark) of Clearwater, Susette Fuchs of New Jersey, Fred McDowell of Waco, Texas, Clifford McDowell of Waco, Texas, Dorothy McDowell of Waco, Texas and Ramona McDowell of Waco, Texas. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives.
