With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Annie Jo Mitchell of Llano, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 24, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Ulysses Charles Hamilton and Eula Mae Allen Hamilton; her husband Bill; her children, Sandra and Briley; and her sister Betty Lou Farmer.

She is survived by : her daughter-in-law LaVina Mitchell; her granddaughters, Shyla Burrell and Roxanne Rathge; her nieces, Jan Windham and Susan Davis; her nephew Bryan Farmer; and her siblings-in-law, Pat Priest, JoAnn Gant and Gus Mitchell. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Harrell Funeral Home (307 E Sandstone St, Llano, TX 78643). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.

Instead of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Cherokee Children's Home P.O. Box 295 Cherokee, TX 76832.
