He was predeceased by: his parents, Karre and Vera; and his sister Carol. He is survived by: his wife June; his daughters, Coleen Brooks and Diana Miller (Glenn); his brother Jim Dawson; and his caregivers, Chrissy, Amanda, Visiting Angel and Tracee.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery (11463 TX-195, Killeen, TX 76542).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in honor of Kurt's faith and generous spirit.
