She was predeceased by: her parents, Waldemar Oehler and Nora Oehler; and her sister Caroline Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Simpson; her daughters, Bonnie "Jeanne" Wooten (Richard) and Sandy Carson (Jimmy); her granddaughter Amanda; and her great grandchildren, Julian, Lydia Matthews and Evelyn Joyce.
