He was predeceased by: his parents, Margie Lockhart and Elmer Rhoades; his father-in-law James Allen Faught; his nephew Michael Hurst; and his son-in-law Justin Sagebiel.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Rhoades; and his children, Terry Rhoades (Wendy), Christopher Rhoades (Jesse), Shawna Rhoades (Andrez) and Ashley Kelly (Ian).
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Harrell Funeral Home Chapel (307 E Sandstone St, Llano, TX 78643). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Harrell Funeral Home of Llano Beginning (307 E Sandstone St, Llano, TX 78643). A burial was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Llano City Cemetery (299 St Mary, Llano, TX 78643). A graveside service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
