He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lawrence Strawn and Lillie Roye Strawn; and his siblings, Bob, Tom, Lamar, Deloy Strawn, Agnes Caruthers and Hazel Ferguson.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Louise Jordan; his children, David Charles and Kathleen Ann Arnold; his grandchildren, Kayla Strawn Melton, Stephen Strawn, Sarah Arnold and Richard Arnold; his great grandchildren, Katy Melton, Kourtney Melton, Katie Hornbeck, Samantha Strawn, Aaron Strawn, Felix Arnold and Peter Arnold; and his brother Roye Strawn (Margaret).
