Charles Lewis Vernon Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Lewis Vernon of Lockhart, Texas, who passed away on September 13, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie Irene Vernon (Niedecken) and Alfred Eugene Vernon, Sr.; his brothers, Douglas Vernon and Alfred "Gene" Vernon, Jr.; and his nephews, Darrell Vernon and Roy Vernon.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Yates Vernon; his children, Sam Vernon (Jaymie), Celia Doyle (Dustin Doyle) and Aaron Vernon (Tracy); his grandchildren, Charli Vernon, Preston Vernon, Tristan Vernon, Hank Doyle, John Doyle, Ollie Doyle, Staley Vernon and Ellis Vernon; and his siblings, Wallace Vernon, Kathi Crump and Kenneth Vernon.
