He is survived by: his children, Jason Pogue (Stephanie), Cheryl Miller (Donovan), Jennifer Bradley (Stephen) and Daniel Pogue (Jenn); his grandchildren, Carsten, Jordan, Kalyn, Zeke, Maggie, Corbin, Carter and Charlotte; his great grandchild Dahlia; and his siblings, Leslie Pogue, Evelyn Syler, Frances Klestinec, Sara Dunn, Carla Eisele, Claude Pogue and Stacie Guy.

Visitation was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Homes and Cremation Services (2620 S Congress Ave, Austin, TX 78704). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at the Live Oak Cemetery (10739 Twin Creek Rd, Manchaca, TX 78652).
