With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gwen D. Smith of Lodi, Texas, who passed away on December 15, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Gwen farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Gwen is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Smith and Gertrude Smith; and his son Eddy Smith. He is survived by: his children, Michael Smith of Bedford, Gary C. Smith (Laura) of Hurst, Eddie Millican (Mary) of Waco, David Smith of Lodi, Texas and Tammy Roberts (Gary) of Atlanta, Texas. He is also survived by twenty six grandchildren; twenty six great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
