She was predeceased by: her husband R. C. Edwards; her daughter Joyce Conley; and her parents, G. G. Williams and Mamie Williams. She is survived by: her children, Bob Edwards of Rockport and Linda Little (John) of Longview; and her grandchildren, Rodney Matthews (Wendy), Alan Allen (Rachel), Marcus Edwards (Tanya), Tifani Hesser (Andy), Kyle Whitehead (Sarah) and Jana Dunn (Heath). She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
In honoring Maxine's memory, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the East Texas Alzheimer's Alliance, PO Box 4223, Longview, TX 75606, an organization close to her heart considering her compassion for those in need.
